Services We Offer

NEW! Our qStation allows our physicists to remotely monitor and analyze your accreditation and quality control data.

IMAR offers a range of service packages. Packages are tailored to site needs and range from the very basic to a full "one-stop" plan:

  • Tin. IMAR personnel will travel to the site with an ACR phantom, image the phantom, and measure all the parameters relevant to ACR certification and provide a written report of results within 5 working days.

  • Copper. This includes all Tin services. In addition, in case of non-compliance, IMAR personnel will carry out measurements that assess and report the contributions to geometric distortion from the gradient coil and from Bo inhomogeneity, including what individual components of Bo are affected. identify other sources of non-compliance, and work with the site operators to correct these problems as well as to optimize the imaging protocols.

We believe we can offer this unique service because of our knowledge set, unique background and extensive experience.

  • Bronze. This includes all Copper services. In addition, in advance of our MRI site visit IMAR will provide a set of requirements for clinical studies to satisfy ACR accreditation and will review the clinical studies obtained by the client to make sure they meet the written ACR criteria. If all studies are not available at the time of its visit to the site, IMAR will review films sent to its facility.

  • Gold. This includes all Bronze services. In addition IMAR personnel will work directly with the site in acquiring the clinical data, formatting it, and preparing the ACR accreditation submission.

  • Alloy Option. IMAR will train site personnel on performing the ACR quality control program, will remotely monitor the results, perform densitometric measurements on films and report potential problems in any compliance area. Requires the participation of technologist(s).

  • Alloy Plus Option. This includes all Alloy Option services. In addition, IMAR personnel will work directly with maintenance and service providers to correct scanner deficiencies. Also, we will visit the site every six months to perform direct measurements and monitor the quality control program.
